These came out in October and now they are discounted for Black Friday. That’s the limited edition Oi Polloi x Lee Rider cord jackets.
Actually, there are cords (based on the 101z cut) in a matching colour selection too, so have a look at the retailer’s site if you fancy a pair of those. But it’s the jackets that floated my boat.
The jackets are available in the three autumnal colours pictured here, with the jacket itself based around the timeless Lee Rider jacket. Oh and each produced from a jumbo cord too. Really don’t see enough of that these days.
All the details you would expect, such as full button fastening, two buttoned flap chest pockets, two slash pockets, two interior lower pockets, buttoned cuffs and a button adjustable hem. Also a ‘classic boxy fit’ for the jacket.
They’ve been making them successfully since the 1930s, so you know it’s a classic. But with a touch more about it when it comes to the cord construction and colours. Co-branding inside too, should you like a limited edition to show off.
Originally selling for £130 at Oi Polloi, these are available at 30 per cent off for Black Friday directly from Lee. The new price is £91 and they seem to be offering free delivery too.

That’s not quite all, as most of the Lee range has 30 per cent off. I’ve picked up a pair of 101 jeans, which also had a further 10 per cent off for new customers. So a wonderful deal all told.
