New ones of their keep sneaking into the range, so it is always worth keeping an eye on the website for these Magliamo vintage-style cycling track tops.
Mailgram is something of a rising star right now, with the label producing a range of clothing that sits between two stools. Yes, it is aimed at cyclists and specifically, cyclists who love vintage gear and a connection to a bygone era.
But the clothing is also made to appeal to the non-cyclist too. Most of the range works as casual clothing, including the t-shirts and cycling shirts, but particularly the track tops, which are ideal as extra layers or just as jackets.
Each one is made of an extra fine Italian Merino wool, designed in Belgium by Diederik Degryse and made in Poland. If you want to find out more about the man behind the label, check out this interview with him on Modculture, which also mentions a rather famous customer of the range.
As I said, the range is gradually expanding, with the Molteni track top at the head of the page being the most recent addition and slightly different to the other tops, this one just having a zip collar and being part of a full tracksuit.
However, the others, which differ (of course) in terms of design, all share the same attributes of a full zip front along with a contrasting collar and cuffs.
Not the cheapest of items at €149, but these are excellent quality and should do you for quite some time if you look after it. A great thing to slip on when the temperatures drop in the evening and probably coming into it own in the autumn.
