Well, his brother did a pair so why not? The Adidas x Liam Gallagher Padiham LG SPZL trainers are available next week.
You might recall the Adidas x Noel Gallagher Training 72 NG trainers from back in 2011, which was a Noel-themed take on a rare Adidas silhouette and sold out pretty quickly. Now something of a collector’s piece. At least, if you are a Noel or Oasis fan.
The same is likely to apply to this new style. Although new is probably pushing it a bit. This a shoe based on the Padiham SPZL, which was part of the SPZL range just last year and a design based on a vintage silhouette, although an all-new design. Named after a small Lancashire town just outside Burnley if you didn’t know.
The Adidas x Liam Gallagher Padiham LG SPZL trainers are not an exact copy of that shoe, with several tweaks agreed between Gallagher and SPZL main man Gary Aspden, with the end result being a shoe with a cream suede upper, leather details, a matching slim gum sole, gold foil branding, a zig-zag cut ‘eyestay’, zig-zag Three Stripes and of course, a reworked tongue featuring Liam Gallagher’s face plus dual branding.
Essentially the Adidas x Liam Gallagher Padiham LG SPZL trainers are a bit of a promo tool for Liam Gallagher’s new album and as such, I suspect they will be quite tough to secure. They are available from 30th August, with End Clothing, Hip Store and Adidas all confirming they will have some stock of these.
Good luck finding a pair.
