It’s that time of year. Goes colder, goes a lot wetter. Time to pick up something like the Albam Military Parka to keep the elements out.
Albam is good at this kind of thing. You might remember the Johnston anorak https://www.hisknibs.com/classic-rainwear-johnston-anorak-albam/ I featured some weeks back and its fishtail parka https://www.hisknibs.com/albam-takes-on-the-fishtail-parka/ from last year. Rugged clothing for the rugged outdoor weather.
This one has there added selling point of being offered in white. Not just white – you can get the other colours pictured here too. But the white one is the one to have as far as I’m concerned, with the look of a vintage military snow jacket. But feel free to go for the others if darker colours work for you.
Not exactly a winter jacket as it’s a cotton coat, so more of an outer layer. But a jacket with raglan sleeves, a button front, three front flap pockets, a back flap pocket plus a drawstring hem and hood.
Functional, good looking and priced fairly well compared to other similar jackets I have seen around. You are looking at £295 if you want one of these.
