Looking for a summer jacket? This Todd Snyder x Champion seersucker Harrington jacket might be just the thing for you.
I see a lot of Harrington jackets and to be honest, I see a lot of good ones at various prices. But the designs are pretty similar whatever you go for. Ok, the construction might vary from cotton to wool or even leather or suede. But the design tends to always be the same.
Two-button collar, ribbed cuffs and waist and more often than not, a check lining. But this is a very different take on it. Something you’ll love or…well, let’s just say not everyone will appreciate this one.
But if you like the idea of something collegiate or ivy league and of course, love the shape of a Harrington jacket, then you might well fall for this one. It all depends on that and if you like to stand out from the crowd or be part of it.
The cloth does set it apart. That 100% cotton seersucker is imported from Italy and according to the seller, has ‘all the comfort of a warm-up jacket’ but with the cut of a windbreaker. Of course, it’s a warm-weather jacket with the lining set to a minimum.
Details are the traditional two-button collar the ribbing, which is striped for both cuffs and waist. Two slanted button pockets as well and a contrasting white zip.
Personally, I really like this. If you do too then you are looking at £216 for one.
