A throwback design, presumably out of the archives, the Adidas Originals Classic Windbreaker is available in two colours.
And both are as old school as the design itself. This is about as 1980s as it gets from Adidas these days, with the possible exception of some trainer reissues. The kind of jacket you can imagine all over the schoolyard around four decades back.
Is it an archive release? I don’t know. I would guess it is, or at the very least, inspired by archive designs. Not that you’ll just be picking one up just for nostalgic reasons (although you might). This is also a jacket that’s perfect for the upcoming spring months.
Slightly warmer, with plenty of rain. Yes, you need something not as heavy and ideally with a water-resistant element to it. Something like this.
Made of a taffeta fabric, it has everything you need and nothing you don’t. White details contrast the coloured body of the coat, with four pockets to keep your essentials close by (two angled lower pockets and two chest pockets), with the three stripes on the arm, the logo on the chest and the hood for when the rain does come down.
It’s a jacket made for practicality. But that strong retro look is the reason it will sell.
Sizes are small through to XXL, and it is available now in these two colours for £85.
