If you like a classic look and the famous croc, then you might well love this organic cotton gabardine jacket by Lacoste. Especially now it’s in the sale.
I like the Lacoste label, but like some other heritage brands, it’s always a case of sifting through the range to find timeless pieces. And this is one such design.
It’s what Lacoste does so well. Take a classic look, make it their own and add on a famous logo. Job done.
In this case, a rework of a golfing jacket. It’s a mix of a golfing jacket and a Harrington jacket, the end result being something that’s ideal for the spring. Light, but with a bit of warmth from the material.
It’s a short jacket made of an organic stretch cotton gabardine in three colour options (all shown here) and with a mesh lining (which might not be for everyone), a zip front, adjustable bottom and sleeves, and buttoned front pockets.
Of course, the crocodile is on the chest, with a zip interior pocket around the chest too.
Although slightly updated in terms of finish and construction, there’s a strong 1960s ivy vibe about this one, and if that’s your era, it is one to consider.
It originally retailed for £210 but has just dropped into the sale in two colours (not the navy blue as yet) for a much-discounted £126 in all sizes.
