Sale watch: Adidas Gazelle 85 trainers

As you might recall, these were released some months back in various colours and, at first glance, pretty much what you expect of a classic Gazelle. Except it isn’t quite the Gazelle of 2023.

This is what the Gazelle looked like back in 1985, hence the name. Not that it is massively different. Just a few tweaks that were present in the ‘80s shoe in terms of shape and detailing. But you will have to look closely and compare a modern shoe actually to spot them as, on the face of it, there’s nothing obvious.

But there is one difference, which is that the Gazelle 85 is in the sale. Presumably, because it is now at the end of the line. Good news if you want a pair of Gazelles on your feet this summer.

The sale colours are the ones you can see here, which are blue, red, green, orange and purple. The black, as yet, hasn’t made it to the sale. There is a women’s version in there, but you will need fairly small feet to make that work for you.

Most sizes are still available, which is a good thing, and prices are between £60 and £70 from the original £100 asking price. As ever, expect the popular sizes to go fairly quickly.
