It certainly isn’t cheap, but the A.P.C. suede bomber jacket might well be something to keep an eye on if it drops into the sale.
Or you could buy it now if you have money to spare. But to be honest, you will need a lot to spare.
That’s partly because the A.P.C. is never cheap. This is a Parisian label that has been producing quality gear based on classics for some years. But it does come at a price. Throw in the fact that this is a suede jacket and it bumps up even more.
Saying that this is a jacket that will be with you for some time. I have a couple of suede jackets that have been in my wardrobe for longer than I can remember. Look after them and one with a ‘classic’ look and it should pay for itself. It’s just that this one will take longer to pay for itself than some others.
The jacket is a brown calfskin bomber that takes inspiration from the middle of the 20th century. Ivy league and beyond. It has a full-length zip, ribbed trims and two pockets. According to the retailer, the jacket will also develop ‘a love-worn patina over time’ that makes each one unique.
As for that price, you are looking at £1,059 for this suede bomber jacket.
