I know, not the first brand you would associate with the design. But this is an Adidas Harrington Jacket.
In terms of design, it isn’t a million miles away from the classic shape of a Harrington Jacket, although the design is said to be inspired by an Italian design from the 1980s and from the Adidas archive. There are other items that also make up the Samstag Archive Collection if you want to check them out.
But I’m focusing on the pick of the bunch, a lightweight take on the Harrington (a nylon outer) with a regular fit, two-button collar, ribbed waist and cuffs, full zip front, front welt pockets and finished with a brushed gold-tone Trefoil pin.
Looks a good all-rounder if the weather is a bit variable and with a classic look, the jacket should be good for some time if you look after it. A price tag of £75 adds to the appeal.
