This is actually designed for golf, but the Adidas Originals Boston vintage-style bag is versatile enough for any use.
It’s also as near as we can get to the classic Adidas holdall – the ones that everyone had at one point, but have since become quite scarce. In fact, not just scarce, but pricey. Getting an original bag in good condition will cost you a small fortune these days. Although that’s also the case for this one too.
If you want to check out some Adidas classics, I did a round-up of some of the best on eBay a while back for the Retro To Go site. You can see that here.
Or check this one out. It’s a beauty.
If you are into your golf (unlike me) then have a look at Adidas, as they have some decent gear – from custom Gazelles to old-school knitwear. It almost makes you want to start playing. And it gives you an excuse to pick one of these up.
Described as a ‘classic gold duffel’, it’s designed for your kit and more – but would also make a great weekend bag too. There’s a two-way zip makes for easy access, a shoulder strap, plenty of space within. And a compartment at the bottom for shoes – just like those old bags. Note that it has also been made with at least 50 per cent recycled materials.
Just the green and white colour option, although there is a small version of the bag in blue. But if you want the bag pictured here, it sells for £180.
