A Size? exclusive, so only look there for these Adidas The Lost Ones Zissou Trimm Star trainers. And be quick about it.
You can make your mind up on the colours by looking at the pictures. For me, they work, especially on a timeless silhouette like this.
That silhouette is the Adidas Trimm Star, which was released for the first time back k in the mid-1970s. Bizarrely, it was commissioned and designed to promote a German government obesity campaign. But the design transcends that. It has become one of the more popular Adidas reissues over the years and for good reason.
Sleek, slim and with a ‘less is more’ feel about it. That’s why it has never gone out of style. You can see many of the past reissues here.
But this is a limited edition from Size? and the latest arrival in its Lost Ones series. In fact, This design was inspired by the shoe worn in Wes Anderson’s The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou in 2004, which is why it is known as the Zissou shoe.
The original was launched during the world premiere of the film, with only 20 pairs were made originally. A few more are available now, but still a limited run. So don’t hang about if you want a pair.
As for details, a white leather upper, classic serrated 3-Stripes adorn the sidewalls in oceanic and sky blue, while bright yellow laces add in even more colour. A suede bumper and heel piece finishes things off, as well as the logo to the side and inside.
Just on the shelves, they sell for £90.
