It claims to offer up to 40 per cent off, but in reality, the Aphrodite Sale is now on with up to 50 per cent off if you hunt around.
It’s a site that’s a bit of a mixed bag. Some of the range is a bit too ‘fashion’ for me, but they also do a lot of heritage brands and when the sale is on, as it is now, the prices get chopped and there are some bargains if you are prepared to do the browsing.
Alternatively, go to the sale section and find your favourite brands. But the first method is definitely more fun.
Brands in the sale include the likes of Adidas, Albam, APC, Baracuta, Barbour, Clarks, Fjallraven, Fred Perry, Lacoste, Maison Kitsune and Oliver Spencer to name a few, with most of those well represented in the virtual sale racks. Just under 1,500 items are currently discounted.
To give you a taste of what’s in the sale, the Alban vintage stripe t-shirt at the top of the page is £33, down from £55. Working down the page, the Adidas popover jacket (which is think is a spin-off from that 1980s collection I featured a while back) is down from £85 to £59.50, Fred Perry polo shirts are down from £59 to £41.30, Clarks Desert Treks are down from £99 to £69.30 and the Belstaff Kelland jacker is down from £325 to £227.50.
Obviously sizes vary and this is just a taster. Have a full browse at the Aphrodite website.
