Beams Plus knit raglan polo shirt (image credit: Urban Industry)
I’m getting some strong vintage vibes from this Beams Plus knit raglan polo shirt – which is actually discounted, too.
Pretty much perfect for the time of year too. For me, this is very much a spring (or even summer) knit. But on colder days, if you wear it under something, it works on that front too.
It’s a good-looking thing and a slight departure from Beams Plus. Usually known for reworking ivy or preppy designs, this one has more of a late 1960s, even an early 1970s look about it. It is still a mid-20th-century design. Just a little later than some of the label’s looks.
And I like it for that reason. The colour, the stripes and a collar that extends a bit further than most Beams Plus polo shirts, as well as having a slightly longer four-button placket.
It is made from 100% cotton, with a ribbed hem and cuffs and all the usual sizes. I originally spotted this at Urban Industry for upwards of £100. But it is in the sale now at Hip and generously discounted. 42 per cent off means it is down to £75, with most sizes available.
