Bob Dylan 1960s suede jacket by Levi’s Vintage Clothing (image credit: Levi’s Vintage Clothing)
The price might make you sweat, but this 1960s Bob Dylan suede jacket by Levi’s Vintage Clothing is a very cool release.
I spotted this while putting together a round-up of the 10 best trucker jackets at Modculture (do check that out if you are in the market for one). I’m not sure this is your classic trucker jacket, but it is a classic look.
It is also a limited edition, with just 200 being made as part of a small capsule collection of signature styles as seen in the A Complete Unknown movie. And it’s the kind of thing Levi’s Vintage Clothing does so well – recreating archive looks with an attention to detail.
This particular 1960s Suede Jacket is a remake of the classic trucker jacket worn by Dylan. It has two chest pockets, a classic snap button-up front and the suede construction. Nothing over and above that, really, a classic ‘less is more’ design.
Actually, it does have a little bonus – some costume notes on the inside pocket that call out A Complete Unknown, noting the outfit change and scene this jacket is actually featured in.
Fancy one? Check our bank balance. It retails for £1,050.
