A throwback design that’s perfect for there autumn months. The Johnson anorak by Albam is now available to buy.
It’s actually described as a cagoule, but for me, this is an anorak and the kind of anorak that was once commonplace. But I’m going back quite a few years – whether that’s childhood or the days of the ‘jangly’ indie scene (think C86 era). This kind of design was everywhere.
But less so these days, which is why the Johnson anorak by Albam caught my eye.
This one is available is a classic navy blue and a more unusual burnt orange colour, with each made from an organic and recycled fabric which is woven and finished in Italy.
The fabric has a water repellent coating which helps to keep the wind and rain out (as you would hope for an anorak), with detailing including the large pocket flaps, contrast white zip tape and leather zip pull all. A hood of course, as well as some drawstring options and stud cuffs. Lots of sizes too, going from XS through to 2XL.
Not a cheap option at £325, but certainly a good-looking one.
