Two items for one if you like. Because this End x Beams Plus cricket knit polo shirt does look like two designs.
It’s one piece from a larger collection of ivy league-inspired designs from the UK retailer and the highly-regarded Japanese maker. For me, this is the one that really catches the eye.
There are plenty of cricket knits out there. I have featured the classic cricket vests by Real Hoxton, for example, which are an affordable alternative. But they aren’t quite like this one.
This one is described as a cable-knitted polo, harking back to traditional cricket garments, and as such, it adds a preppy vibe to your wardrobe.
A short-sleeve knit made of cotton and within that contrasting ‘V’ is what looks like a polo shirt. Essentially, the collar part of a polo is fitted into the knit to give the impression of two tops.
Not that anyone will know it is one, and to be honest, I’m not sure anyone will care.
If you want to look like you’ve just come off the cricket pitch, this is a limited edition and available now for £175.
