Never been a huge fan of this ongoing collaboration, but I’m making an exception for the new Fred Perry x Miles Kane Houndstooth Bomber Jacket.
You can browse all of the new range here if you want to get an idea of it. To be fair, this time out there are a lot of items that wouldn’t look out of place in the standard Laurel Wreath collection, with one or two obvious exceptions. The leopard print jacket springs immediately to mind.
But this bomber jacket is the standout for me. Of course, you can pick up a tennis bomber jacket from Fred Perry if you want the twin tipping and sporty look. But if you like the idea of something a little more formal, have a look at this,
It’s a classic bomber jacket, as you would expect of Fred Perry. It’s one of the label’s signature styles. Raglan sleeves, ribbed trims, zip front, a couple of side pockets, you know the score.
The difference here is that more formal look, specifically with the houndstooth check finish (described as a gunmetal shade), which is matched up with that gold Fred Perry Laurel Wreath. Simple, straightforward and understated.
If you want one, the Fred Perry x Miles Kane Houndstooth Bomber Jacket launches tonight alongside the rest of the range, selling for £175.
