The much-loved tennis bomber jacket has left its range, but this Fred Perry towelling track jacket has now appeared.
Ok, it’s not the same thing. But it has the look and a construction that suits the time of year. You might not want a jacket when the temperatures start to push up. But this, which is something like a sweatshirt or a sweater, might work as an extra layer.
It also keeps that ‘tennis’ look with the bomber jacket collar and twin tipping – in this case, across the collar, the cuff, and the waist. Of course, you’ll need to be able to keep a cream top clean. It’s a colour option that’s not very forgiving, but it is the only colour available right now.
Outside of that, it’s all the detail you would expect of this: a full-front branded zip, a ribbed collar, a stretch ribbed waistband and ribbed cuffs on the long sleeves, the tipping I mentioned earlier, two pockets on the waist ends, of course, and the signature Fred Perry Laurel logo.
Just on the shelves, it retails for £160.
