Sadly not in the sale, but this Levi’s vintage-style crochet stitch polo shirt still caught my eye.
You don’t see a lot of crochet stitch polos around. Well, apart from the obvious one of the Fred Perry knitted polo from the Reissues range, which is usually about twice the price of this one (unless you can find one in the sales).
This is a new design from the Levi’s Made and Crafted range and p[art of a growing number of spring/summer items on the shelves despite it being cold, dark and wet outside. On the plus side, a number of these will be in the sales once the sun does start shining.
If you can’t wait that long or don’t want to risk it selling out, this polo shirt, in a ‘victoria blue’ shade, has a crochet stitch design throughout the body and sleeves, a polo collar with a two-button placket, single tip detail to the cuffs and ribbed cuffs and hem.
It could pass for vintage, which is a plus point if you like that kind of look. As for the price, £70 certainly isn’t budget, but it is massively cheaper than Fred Perry’s option and without a logo, which always ticks a box for me.
