A bit of a timeless classic. Although the presence of the ‘pony’ might make or break the deal for this Polo Ralph Lauren Windbreaker Harrington Jacket.
You can’t argue with the jacket, though. Described as a Harrington, it’s more of a golfing jacket to these eyes and the kind of jacket that’s been keeping people warm over the spring and summer months since the mid-20th century.
It just doesn’t date – and that’s always something to look out for. Even the colours are a little timeless too.
But as I said, the label is probably the deal maker or breaker. If you get hung up on logos and don’t have a love for RL you might not want it there. But Ralph Lauren has been around for decades. It’s as solid as it comes unless you are still fighting the wars of your youth.
Details are as and when they are needed. So the zipped front, two side pockets, an interior pocket, elasticated hem and button cuffs. A logo is on the chest, of course.
Three colours, all the sizes and a price of £179.
