A bit of a bargain lurking in the End Sale, some much-reduced Clarks Desert Trek 50th Anniversary boots.
I mean, they were worth a look at the full price- a special 50th-anniversary pair of the much-loved Desert Trek boots, now an icon of the Clarks Originals range and a very nice shoe for everyday wear.
Yes, a sand suede finish might not be ideal for the wet weather season. But for much of the year, this is a great option and a timeless style.
Everything you would expect to see is here, from the crepe sole to the signature centre seam and, of course, the Trek Man logo on the leather heel patch. But as a nice touch, you also get bespoke suede fobs branded wire the anniversary artwork in gold lettering. Just in case you want to show off your individuality.
These were selling for £129, which seems pretty par for the course these days for a Clarks classic. Yes, prices have shot up. But in the sale, they are down to £77 – and with End also knocking an extra 15 per cent off at checkout, that should take the price down to around £65.50.
That’s a real bargain for a limited edition shoe – and all main sizes still seem available as well.
