A couple of details might put you off, but this Teddy water-resistant jacket by Lacoste is still worth talking about.
At its heart, this is a lightweight bomber jacket, ideal for the time of the year and not least because it has water resistance. Summer showers are never far away, That striped collar really finishes it off well.
The downsides? Well, the logo might be a touch bigger than you like, but I can happily live with that. The other thing is something you have to look closely at.
If you do have a closer look then you will notice that it is adorned with lines recalling the tennis court. Yes, this is a tennis bomber, much like the Fred Perry ones. The lines aren’t obvious at first glance but if you look at the close-ups, you’ll see them. It’s something you might not want.
That is a shame as overall, this is Lacoste at its best. Updating classic silhouettes for the modern era. This is a timeless design and if you look after it, something that will give you plenty of wear when the temperatures start to rise.
As I said, two colours, with both made from lightweight water-resistant nylon and lined with breathable mesh. There are also contrast ribbed finishes on the wristbands and an elasticised bottom of the garment plus two side zip pockets and a two-tone silicone crocodile on the chest.
If you want one Lacoste has it now for £160.
