Sometimes Adidas does some really nice clothing designs. Like this throwback vintage-style Adidas half-zip wool top.
It’s just on the shelves and looks like a vintage cycling shirt, although with a cut that’s more suited to casual wear than riding a bike.
It’s unclear whether it’s an archive piece. It uses the classic Trefoil logo—in this case, in small metallic gold. The design wouldn’t have looked out of place in the 1960s, but it could be archive-inspired.
Either way, if you like the idea of old-school knitwear or sportswear with an Adidas logo attached, this is probably for you.
This is a short-sleeved top made of wool with a regular cut, a half-zip collar for a cycling-style look, a blue finish and, of course, the contrasting stripes in white and red, as well as (I think) a paler blue.
One of the latest arrivals at Adidas and so far only available directly from its website, the top sells for £100 in pretty much any size you need.
